Allow

Lately, I've been obsessed with the word "allow" and its significance not only in our Essentrics classes but in my life in general. It's become clear that allowing ourselves to reconnect with a fearless side of ourselves is pivotal. I've noticed that some folks have great apprehension about moving, fear making mistakes, or worry about not doing as big or as fluidly with others in the class. This mindset is limiting and prevents us from embracing the essence of who we are.

Our bodies, intrinsically designed to move freely, are inhibited when we allow our fears and expectations to dominate; we become more rigid, both physically and mentally. In my classes, I aim to create a space where we celebrate our bodies as they are today while also striving for improvement. Essentrics is a beautiful way to have a dialogue with our bodies, where we learn to speak to ourselves with kindness and motivation. Ultimately, this kind of conversation is not only productive but also feels incredibly rewarding.

I'm really excited to see you in class as we embark on this journey to reconnect with our bodies and approach fitness with a compassionate and encouraging mindset.

Looking forward to our session together!
